For over 65 years, Broadmoor Baptist Weekday Preschool has served the families of our community in Shreveport-Bossier, offering quality preschool education with emphasis on God’s love. After much prayer and planning, we are excited to announce the expansion of our program to include babies through 2s along with our 3s, 4s, and 5s under one umbrella of learning: The Learning Center at Broadmoor.

The Learning Center at Broadmoor will offer a seamless transition through a unified curriculum that builds year to year to ensure that our children are well-equipped for kindergarten and beyond. Childhood is a brief window in time, and preschool should be that special place where children are nurtured and loved, as well as educated.

The Learning Center at Broadmoor is here to help your child grow emotionally, intellectually, physically, socially, and spiritually, in a safe, warm, and caring environment. We believe each child is unique, and we strive to protect and preserve this uniqueness.

Program:

Our children explore, experiment, and discover the world through organized activities, a focused curriculum, and adventurous play time in a Christian environment. Children from 8 weeks old through PreK 5 learn in community with others from a foundational curriculum that focuses on pre-reading skills, basic math concepts, science and nature studies, music, art, culture, and an awareness of the world around them. At The Learning Center at Broadmoor, we take every opportunity to expand the horizons of our children, preparing them for future success.

1. Max of 12 children per room for threes and 14 children per room for fours and fives, with 1 teacher per room plus a floating Teachers’ Aide

2. Babies through twos have 2 teachers per room

Yes. The non-refundable registration fee is equivalent to one month’s tuition:

$200 for 2-day
$220 for 3-day
$230 for 5-day
$230 for 2-day babies
$250 for 3-day babies

Babies – 2 days per week:  $230/month ($2,070/year)
Babies – 3 days per week:  $250/month ($2,250/year)
Toddlers through 2 years old – 2 days per week: $200/month ($1800/year)
Toddlers through 3 years old – 3 days per week: $220/month ($1,980/year)
Children 3 years old through 5 years old – 5 days per week: $230/month ($2,070/year)

We use the Wee Learn curriculum across the board, from babies through age 5. There are common weekly themes throughout the program, as well, and Music & Movement songs and activities and Chapel topics are coordinated with these themes.

Children ages 3 through 5 should be potty-trained.

Yes! We currently offer both STEAM classes and Spanish classes during Lunch Bunch for threes, fours, and fives.

NOTE: We have plans to expand these options next Fall to offer some additional classes for all ages, such as Art and possibly Teams of Tomorrow or Soccer Shots.

Children ages 12 months through 3 will need a bath towel for rest time.
