Mature Adults

Offering opportunities for spiritual growth, fellowship, and ministry for our members aged 60 and above, from Baby Boomers to the Greatest Generation.

Ministry

Many of our Mature Adult church members and friends are no longer able to come to church. Our VIP Ministry extends the love of Jesus to these individuals by visiting them. Our volunteers in this ministry meet monthly to report on their visits.

If you or someone you know would benefit from this ministry, of if you would like to volunteer for this ministry, please contact Tom at: tomh@broadmoor.tv

Mature Adults also serve in our Greeter Ministry, Choir, Media Ministry, Children’s Ministry, and throughout our church.

Spiritual Growth

Broadmoor provides numerous men’s, women’s, and co-ed classes on Sunday morning for all mature adults. Click the link below to find a group for you.

On Wednesday afternoons, Dr. John Sullivan leads a time of Bible study and prayer at 4:00 pm in the chapel.

Mature Adults have a week of intensive Bible study each summer, often with a guest speaker.  This Mature Adult VBS is held in the afternoons, the same week as the Children’s VBS.

Fellowship

Our Mature Adult Ministry hosts a Movie Matinee in the Worship Center at 1:00 pm on the last Tuesday of each month.  All mature adults are welcome to join us for fellowship, popcorn, and a great movie.  The movie and snacks are free!

Single women aged 60 and above are invited to join the Circle of Love and Hope.  This group meets regularly for fun, fellowship, support, and encouragement.  They enjoy guest speakers, games, day trips, and meals at local restaurants.

Other Mature Adult activities include special events and trips.  Details of upcoming activities are available in the church bulletin.
